During its 2017-2018 fiscal year the Flynn Center programmed its two venues - the mainstage (1,439 seats), flynnspace (150 seats) as well as two studios. - the Performing Arts season included 103 presentations attended by more than 45,000 members of the general public and 1,707 redeemed discount vouchers were provided to 86 social services agencies.- there were 37 student matinee performances attended by 38,000 schoolchildren (including 8,000 subsidized tickets) from 178 schools as well as 117 home school families.- the city-wide burlington discover jazz festival presented 102 performances in Flynn and community spaces including 111 hours of free music attended by an estimated 70,000 people.
Instructors completed 649 hours of school workshops with an estimated attendance of 16,225 students in 90 schools, as well as 36 teachers workshops hours for approximately 233 teachers.offered the Arts education program, flynnarts for children and adults with 122 classes, workshops and camps and 1,323 particpiants with $27,400 on scholarships awarded. Provided 16 multi-day artist residencies that included 14 pre- and post-performance discussions, 6 masterclasses, 6 community workshops and 4 development events.
Provided a performance home to other Performing Arts organizations and presenters who staged 156 performances attracting 110,000 people.
