The fccg is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) independent corporation whose primary mission is to increase public awareness about problem and Compulsive Gambling, to advocate for services and supports for persons in need of assistance for a Gambling problem, and to provide information and resource referrals to diverse populations seeking problem Gambling help or information. The fccg provides an array of community outreach services as Compulsive Gambling transcends throughout every aspect of the marketplace. As public awareness has continued to surface over the years on the issue of Gambling addiction, the fccg has developed population specific prevention, education and training programs to meet these evolving needs. The fccg operates the statewide problem Gambling helpline service 888- admit-it, providing confidential and multilingual assistance to those in need of information or help with a Gambling problem. The fccg also provides Florida Gambling industry operators with information and training in the establishment of responsible player programs, and has furnished associated employee training and print/collateral materials featuring the 888-admit-it helpline for access to problem Gambling supports.
