James patrick memorial work incentive personal care attendant program - provides personal care attendant funding to people with severe and chronic disabilities to allow them to maintain gainful employment and remain indpendent. The program provides up to $1,800 per month to qualified individuals to cover their personal care attendant expenses for assisting them with activities of daily Living such as dressing and hygiene. Program participants must meet criteria listed in fs 413.402 and also meet requirements in the program's policies and procedures.
Membership: membership dues provide income to support the education and advocacy activities of the Association.
The youth leadership forum (ylf) is a leadership-training program for high school students with disabilities. Participants learn how to increase their leadership abilities, explore careers in various disciplines and cultivate citizenship, advocacy and social skills.
