The hospital provides outpatient and emergency care services to patient in pocahontas, Arkansas and the surrounding area. It also operating a home health agency in the same geographic region. The home health department at frmc had over 14,777 skilled nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and aide visits in 2023. The emergency department at frmc treated over 8,726 patients in 2023 and has a level 4 trauma designated er. They operated a geriatric behavioral unit that treated patients 65 and over with varying behavioral disorders and admitted over 179 patients through august 2023. Frmc admitted over 1137 patients in 2023 for acute care during the year before moving to rural emergency hospital status. Beginning september 2023 they changed status to a rural emergency hospital and discontinued inpatient operations.
