Program areas at First Coast Ems Advisory Council

In 2015, our our First exempt purpose accomplishment was the stemi registration. In 2012, we went live with our regional stemi registry. This is a project that the Council and area hospitals funded in order to benchmark our heart attack patients getting to the cath lab in a timely fashion in order to save heart tissue. We hired a data base firm to manage the data and provide the reports. We report funding from hospital as registry income.
Formulated a regional stroke protocol that included stroke alert parameters for transport to appropriate facilities.
Supported the regional "hand only cpr" program that included citizen groups training, high school seniors training and public training events.
