Program areas at FCR
Feral Cat Rescue provided support to approximatly 375 cats. Expenses included trapping, spaying and neuturing, vaccinating against rabies, micro chipping, distemper vaccines, both internal and external parasite control, and any other health issues the cats may have, ie if the cat develops upper respiratory or other health complications. FCR also purchases cat food for feral colonies we support as well as for our foster families, and other families due to the economy could not otherwise provide for their animals. We provided shelters for feral colonies, and worked with the community to find barn locations for feral cats and colonies either losing their caregiver, or whom needed to be moved due to other circumstances. By spaying and neutering as many cats as we can, this will reduce the number of cats and kittens euthanized by our local county animal shelter
