Farmers Conservation Alliance is an organization dedicated to developing resource solutions for rural communities. It educates, connects and learns from these communities about green technologies and solutions that save money, conserve resources and improve quality of life. It has conducted over 100 educational presentations, completed principal construction of the largest Farmers screen in its history at Derby Dam on the Truckee River near Reno, Nevada, and is located in Hood River, Oregon.

Program areas at Farmers Conservation Alliance

Fca develops irrigation modernization projects across the western united states and supports these projects through implementation and construction. In 2022, fca worked with more than 50 irrigation districts and communities in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Colorado and California.
The Farmers screen is an innovative, horizontal fish screen technology that allows Farmers to divert water from rivers without harming fish or trapping debris. Invented by Farmers in the hood river basin, and sold by fca, the Farmers screen has been installed throughout the western united states. Fca works with Farmers, engineers, and agencies to support the design and installation of the Farmers screen.
