Program areas at Family Services of Grant County
Head Start/Early Head Start provides preschool, toddler, and infant education services for 222 (110 Head Start; 112 Early Head Start) at risk children. We also offer child development, health, nutrition, safety, and parenting educational services to their families in Grant County to support enrolled children's success in Kindergarten and life.
USDA is a federal program to provide healthy meals to low income children. The income level guidelines for Head Start automatically qualifies all enrolled children for the USDA fee rate.
Early Head Start/Childcare - Classrooms with infants and toddlers, and preschool classrooms that last more than 4 hours per day are childcare licensed by the State of Washington. Childcare costs are supported in part by working connections and foster care.
