The amount of charges foregone for services provided under the Organization's charity care policy were approximately $3,500,000 for the year ended September 30, 2020. Total direct and indirect costs related to these foregone charges were $4,239,000 at September 30, 2020, based on an average ratio of cost to gross charges.The Organization receives funds to offset or subsidize charity care services. The amount of funds received was $5,525,176 for the year ended September 30, 2020.
