Description
Fairvote Action advocates for electoral reforms that expand democracy and promote greater voter choice in elections at all levels. Their mission is to campaign for better elections for all, making democracy more functional and representative for every American. In 2022, their efforts resulted in the passing of pro-rcv legislation in six states through eight ballot measures and two wins through ordinance. They continue to make ranked choice voting the fastest growing nonpartisan reform in the nation.

2023 Fairvote Action (c4) accomplishmentsfairvote Action achieved several voting reform wins in 2023. In partnership with other advocates and organizations, Fairvote Action: provided funding and advocacy support for successful campaigns to pass pro-rcv legislation in six states and win seven municipal rcv ballot measures; lobbied congress in support of rcv legislation and the fair representation act; helped continue movement growth through grants to state and local rcv groups; engaged in cross-partisan efforts to continue the use of rcv in democratic and republican presidential primaries; secured rcv endorsements from notable thought leaders, editorial board, and elected officials; and enhanced organizational capacity through board development, strong fundraising, and continued investment in monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
