Palliative Care is specialized medical Care that aims to enhance the quality of life for patients and families who are faced with a chronic or serious illness. It focuses on increasing comfort through prevention and treatment to relieve distressing symptoms. It focuses on the patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and family.
To provide inpatient services through the Hospice unit, the pickering house.
