Program areas at Fairbanks Animal Shelter Fund
Provide veterinary care to sick or injured animals as well as preventative care to other adoptable animals at the Shelter. Many animals required major dental care, including tooth extractions throughout the year.
The Fund purchased supplies for the well being and care of shelter animals including grooming supplies, collars, medications, special foods, toys and treats.The fund also purchased the printing of informational brochures regarding adoption awareness, canine training, and the Shelter Fund.
The Fund purchased security vests for animal control officers to ensure safety during animal seizure.
