Exodus.lifExoduslifefe continues to be one of the first funded rco (recovery community organizations) in the state of Arkansas. Through our rco, exodus.lifExoduslifefe reduces the corresponding community stigma associated with substance abuse disorder and justice involvement through educating the public, engaging community partners, advocating to policy makers, and the use of technology. Exodus.lifExoduslifefe provides peer recovery support services to individuals and their families who are struggling with these challenges, assisting them as they become purpose driven, productive, and stable members of society. Through the rco, exodus.lifExoduslifefe provides many recovery groups and pro social events that allow individuals in recovery to build positive, stable community connection.
Exodus.lifExoduslifefe secured a subgrantee position as the service provider to the jefferson county sheriff's department. Under this program justice involved adults and juveniles in jefferson county, Arkansas are provided with peer led education and support and also have access to licensed substance abuse recovery services. Individuals in these programs are educated on developing an enterpreneurial mindset, 12 step recovery, resiliency, and mindfulness in order to foster a holistic healing and mindset shift towards stability and recovery.
Exodus.lifExoduslifefe was able to continue and expand our prison academy to now service central Arkansas community correction center, the east Arkansas community correct center, as well as the omega technical violator unit. Exodus.lifExoduslifefe facilities classes utilizing a faith based 12 step model, biblical principles, as well as cognitive behavior and rational emotive behavior therapy to provide a well rounded education in order to promote healthy living. These services are voluntary to the individuals who participate, and exodus.lifExoduslifefe utilizes many community volunteers to begin to build positive, purpose driven connections and relationships for when these individuals are released from their facility back into the community.
