Program areas at Exchange Club Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse of Iredell
Parent aide this program includes: (1) home visitation program in which parent aides make home visits to families struggling with discipline or other parenting techniques, (2) parenting classes which cover Child management, communication, Child development, self-esteem issues, Abuse Prevention, and infant care, and (3) a program offered to help connect the Center to expecting/new parents at local hospitals in order for them to be educated, prepared, and successful in the first year of parenthood and beyond.
Coaching to permanence this program is designed to shorten a childs time in foster care and move them into a safe, secure family.
Family connections this program provides supervised visitation and exchanges for a parent and Child in a safe environment monitored by professionally trained personnel.
