Evansville Association for the Blind empowers disabled or disadvantaged persons, especially the visually impaired, to live and work in the community through diverse services. Its low vision program caters to mature individuals with 414 adults on its roster. The staff conducted 62 functional low vision evaluations to provide proper support. Additionally, orientation and mobility training (cane travel) is available to all ages with 39 persons trained during fiscal year 2022.

Low vision - Evansville Association for the Blind offers vision services to all age groups. We served 931 individuals last year performing functional vision exams, pre-school eye screenings, cooking classes, support for independent living, and setting up equipment to enable a person to work, attend school, or continue a hobby.
