In furtherance of its purposes, Essentia Health West provides Health care services in Minnesota and north dakota through its hospital and 21 clinics, including charitable care to persons unable to pay.the multi-specialty hospital with 142 licensed beds offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services for its patients, including critical care, medical surgical care, pediatric services, neonatal intensive care, and maternity care. Essentia Health West also has several operating room suites, which include both inpatient and day surgery, and the emergency department is open 24 hours per day. The hospital is accredited by the joint commission and is designed as a level ii trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.essentia Health West employs approximately 1,910 full time equivalents. The hospital provided approximately 41,000 hospital patient days and 210,000 outpatient visits during the fiscal year ended june 30, 2024.
