Program areas at ENB

Program development and support - enb awards grants to support English for speakers of other languages (esol) classes for over 1,000 learners in community, organizations across boston. Enb's targeted esol initiatives address unique goals of learners at home, at work, and in the community. They include: - esol pathways, esol for parents - English for immigrant entrepreneurs. Enb also partners with employers to design and implement workplace English programs.
Public education - enb expands resources through its flagship statewide English works campaign, calling for a high-quality, public-private esol system that serves immigrants, businesses, and the commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Capacity building - enb provides system-wide supports to esol programs and teachers, including training and technical assistance on esol methodology, learner assistance, technology integration in the classroom and curriculum development. Enb also trains and deploys volunteer tutors to assist esol students and classes.
