Program areas at Empowering Communities Globally

1-ecg father project aims to empower Communities by enhancing father participation through comprehensive initiatives. These include 12-hour nurturing fathers trainings, career pathway guidance, and financial health workshops. These offerings are disseminated within Communities through word of mouth and advocacy efforts by myanmar fatherhood advocates. the project addresses various barriers, such as limited operational funding, access to technical assistance, challenges in language accessibility requiring interpreter training and accreditation, and the need for resources to provide trauma-informed support to community members residing in the state and their families in their countries of origin.
Community development: aacc community development program in nicaragua provides home visits, workshops, and training to support community members.
the Colorado recovery plan expands the Colorado opportunity scholarship initiative(cosi) grant to support coloradans who experienced an economic loss due to the pandemic (such as lost or adverse changes in employment, increased food or housing insecurity, forced withdrawal from college after march 13, 2020, or suffered another form of economic loss). This grant supports coloradans displaced by the covid-19 pandemic, including those laid off or furloughed, experienced decreased earnings, had job offers rescinded, could not enter the workforce because of adverse economic conditions, or suffered other economic losses. These workers have the incentive to reskill, upskill, or complete industry-recognized credentials to improve economic prospects for themselves and their Communities.
To use holistic education and empowerment to reduce the impact of poverty on marginalized populations.
