Emergency Medical Services of Northeastern Pa serves as the designated regional ems council for the counties of: lackawanna, luzerne, pike, wayne, bradford, susquehanna, and Wyoming pursuant to act 37.
Emergency Medical Services of Northeastern Pa also assists the Pa dept of health in carrying out provisions of act 37, including: ambulance licensure; Emergency Medical service personnel training; quality assurance, testing, complaint investigation and Medical command facility accreditation.
To assure needs of its region in planning, developing, maintaining, expanding, improving, and upgrading the Emergency Services system are being met.
