Emergency Legal Responders help people faced with emergencies solve their legal challenges by providing tailored easily digestible legal information and services. Volunteers are trained through webinars and in-person education sessions, and ELR also trains staff at partner organizations that serve disaster-impacted people. ELR's legal accessibility program seeks to educate people on available resources and combats the proliferation of false information. They create up-to-date tailored slides that turn legalese into easily digestible legal information.
