Program areas at Elwyn California

Responsible for the transfer of developmentally disabled persons from state institutions to community group homes. Individualized habilitation and behavior support plans for these clients were generated and implemented. Community living arrangements were designed and opened for 161 special-needs individuals residing in 40 community group homes. These individuals are being integrated into the community in order to enjoy active, productive lives.

Workshop, supported employment and adult day care programs serving approximately 271 individuals are operated to provide employment and social integration opportunities to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
