Program areas at Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation
The Elkhorn Public school Foundation through its Elkhorn kids campus program provides state-licensed child care services away from home for over 1,000 school age children grades kindergarten through eighth grade before and after school hours in order to enable individuals to be gainfully employed. Child care services are available to the general Public during the school year and also during the summer. Educational activities such as science experiments, arts and crafts, fun with food and physical recreation are incorporated into the Elkhorn kids campus program.
The Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation provided funding to the Elkhorn Public Schools district for scorevision indoor scoreboards for the three high school gyms.
The Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation funds and administers scholarships for graduating seniors at 3 Elkhorn high Schools. Scholarships recognize students for outstanding academic achievement, athletic accomplishments, leadership potential, community involvement and good character.
