Program areas at Elkhart Lake Chamber of Commerce
Depot dispatch-the Chamber runs the local newspaper called the depot dispatch. This is a twelve issue newspaper featuring articles regarding member businesses, historical and cultural events in our area. Free to loal zip codes and tourists. 6000 copies printed per issue.
Farmers & artisan's market-the Chamber runs a farmers & artisan's market in Elkhart Lake on 19 saturdays in the summer.
Lodging program-the Chamber offers a lodging program where we contract with local owners of cottages, houses and apartments to rent them to tourists who come in the summer. We collect a 15% fee from the landlords for this service and a 15 fee from the tenants.
The Elkhart Lake area Chamber of Commerce supports its memeber businesses and promotes the opportunity for sustainable economic growth and development.
