Eleven Fifty Academy exists to help close the nation's growing technology skills gap by creating an ecosystem of technology talent that benefits the individual, their employer, and their community. Our vision is to allow all individuals with the interest and undiscovered passion for technology to be fully actualized. Program areas at Eleven Fifty Academy

The Academy offers full-time and part-time classes in software development, cybersecurity, and user interface design. The classes last 2 to 6 months, either in-person or online, in an immersive format that promotes rapid learning. The Academy has begun programs in communities statewide that support women, veterans, people of color, and vulnerable populations. Eleven Fifty Academy won the talent impact award for the state of Indiana, having graduated 900 in 2021. The Academy's graduation rate has been 85% with placement rate of 67% and starting salaries of about $55,000, which is approximately 50% higher than students' pre-academy salary.within 4 years, Academy grads are earning approximately the same or more than public university tech grads, but Academy grads are putting over $200,000 of earnings in the bank while university grads incur about $32,000 of student debt during those years.we expanded our course offerings in 2020 to include ux/ui design courses.we continued our employer advisory committee, and with those employers, created an industry-advised curriculum that results in a certificate to the completing student. During 2020 and 2021, classes and curriculum were modified to offer online classes to students as a result of the covid-19 pandemic.in 2021, a special program called advancing tech in 46218 was launched to help a particularly vulnerable segment of the population, in the highest crime zone in indianapolis. We partnered deeply in the cimmunity to achieve our results.
