Program areas at El Puente de Encuentros
In 2017, we began the pilot program. Seven students received stipends for attending seminars and training.seminars were held twice a month and focused on the field of behavioral and mental health. Feedback was requested frompresenters and participants. Students felt better informed and prepared for their career path. Presenters were impressed with student engagement.
We provided direct grants (stipends)to a limited number of participants
This first year to ensure quality interactions between participants and mentors.
Seven participants received stipends. Additional grant cycles are planned for 2018.
