Program areas at Mainstage Center for the Arts

During this fiscal year, as Mainstage Center for the Arts mca and society began to re-emerge from the effects of covid, mainstages programs have begun to re-emerge, too. Mcas studio Arts education program involved 65 registrants in the spring of 2022 in acting, dance, voice, and musical instrument classes. However, in the fall of 2022, our studio showed a considered improvement in registrants to 135 students. Our summerstage program in 2022, with fewer covid restrictions, had 240 registrants and sold 2,800 tickets to live performances the first time in two years mca could sell in-person tickets. Mainstages show chior began performing throughouth the south jersey region again as public event began to re-appear. As the fiscal year closed, preparations for mainstages large community event, the blackwood pumpkin festival, after a two-year absence, were well underway. the festival is expected to have 180 vendors and 8,000 south jerseyans in attendance in october 2022.
