Easter Seal Society of Mahoning Trumbull and Columbiana Counties

Meals services at Easter seals provide elderly residents of the region with congregate and home delivered meals. Employees of the organization deliver cold and hot meals to residents homes in Mahoning and Trumbull Counties. Easter seals also offers 13 congregate nutrition sites in Mahoning and Columbiana Counties. Each site is managed by a supervisor who coordinates meal service, activities, transportation and trips. All home-delivered and congregate meals contain 1/3 of the daily nutritional requirements.

Easterseals offers enhanced and intensive day care services to meet daytime needs of adults with disabilities & older adults while promoting their dignity & independence. A team consisting of an rn, lpn, activity director, and activity aides assist the adults as they spend their day together in a welcoming setting. Activities are offered throughout the day and each client chooses what they would like to participate in. Lunch and snacks are included in their day. Nurses administer medications for the clients. Transportation services are also available. Funding sources for these services include va, passport, waiver, senior levy, direction home grant, private pay and insurances.

Easterseals provides pediatric & adult treatment to promote arm and hand function, fine motor development, sensory processing, visual perceptual-cognitive skills and activities of daily living.
