Eagles' Nest Early Learning Center helped advance the career of one of the Center's teachers through funding her college education. She has received a certificate in Early Childhood Education and is progressing toward her Infant and Toddler certification. The Center also offered a new training program for all staff in the areas of special needs and child development while giving parental support and realizing operational enhancement through parent teacher conferences and other activities. Early care and education was provided to families that live and/or work in Gilpin County, benefiting a few dozen children in infant, toddler, and head start preschool programs.
