Dyslexia Center of the Pacific (DCP)

To date; dtch has screened over 325 students who struggle with Dyslexia and related disabilities. Provided services twice a week for over 300 students and 45 educational/awareness workshops for educators, parents, and communities. the short-term outcome of dtch's tutoring program are; students will read with less adult assistance, become willing readers as they improve fluency and accuracy, while gaining confidence in reading and writing. the long-term outcome of dtch's tutoring program are; students will gain confidence, broaden their vocabulary, experience less anxiety, and will increase a minimum of one reading grade level (rgl) per year.
