Peer Support Services: - Services and activities provided between and among consumers who have common issues and needs, that are consumer-motivated, initiated, and managed, and that allow consumer to live independently. Services are provided by a Certified Peer Support Specialist and are used to enhance consumer engagement by connecting with resources in the community, coaching self-advocation, and promoting independent living.
