Program areas at Drma Foundation
Funds Drma's workforce initiatives, which are overseen by Drma's dayton region manufacturing workforce partnership (drmwp), an oma-endorsed sector partnership, whose purpose is to develop and execute new and enhanced initiatives that strategically align workforce efforts to ensure manufacturing competence and growth throughout the region. Initiatives include organizing student tours of manufacturing member facilities; conducting career events at schools; offering programs to attract adults to careers in manufacturing; working with schools to include industry-recognized credentials in their programs; offering programs to encourage members to upskill their incumbent employees; and collaborating with numerous organizations and schools to advocate for members' workforce needs, locally, statewide, and nationwide.
