Renova, Inc. is examining the effects of emotionally focused therapy (EFT) on cancer patients' relationships and wellbeing through a clinical trial collaboration with the University of California San Diego (UCSD). By providing counseling services to patients diagnosed with intimate cancers, Renova aims to demonstrate how EFT can help strengthen bonds during a challenging health crisis. During the reporting period, Renova served 24 treatment units which included 16 couples and 8 individuals. The results will inform best practices for supporting cancer patients' mental health and equip providers with evidence-based relationship tools. This pioneering trial highlights Renova's commitment to advancing innovative mental health care.

By providing affordable education in specialized therapies like emotionally focused and play therapy, Renova equips clinicians to offer targeted treatment to community members in need.
