Domestic Violence Network of Greater Indianapolis engages the community to end domestic violence by providing local leadership, developing printed materials for public awareness, and facilitating a community-wide plan. The network's mission is to coordinate a three-year strategic plan with various agencies to put an end to domestic violence in central Indiana.

Program areas at Domestic Violence Network of Greater Indianapolis

The community wide plan, beyond equity, is the 6th cwp launched by dvn in january 2024. The plan examines why black and african american women experience Domestic Violence at 2.5x the rate of their white counterparts.
The youth program provides education to youth grades 7-12 on teen dating Violence, healthy relationships, consent and boundaries. Dvn educates approximatley 1500 youth a year.
The adult training program provides education to the community on an array of topics including Domestic Violence 101, trauma informed care, Domestic Violence in the workplace and others.
By collaborating effectively with its partners, the organization is able to identify and bridge gaps, educate the community of the dynamics of Domestic Violence and resources available, and provide best practice training to those individuals working directly with victims and perpetrators of Domestic Violence.
