Dock Woods

Through non-profit housing and related services, Dock Acres, Inc. Meets the physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual needs of senior adults. Dock Acres helps its residents find purpose and joy by supporting their health and security and offering enriching programs that promote holistic well-being. Residents of Dock Acres receive housing, nursing, rehabilitation, life enrichment, and other related services through the operation of 170 residential living cottages and villas (Dock Acres division) and 89 residential living apartments (Dock gardens division). Residents receive health care services through a continuing care agreement that includes hatfield mennonite home. For the fiscal year ending june 30, 2023, 376 individuals received care at Dock Acres, which maintained an average census of 94%. Dock Acres residents are eligible for benevolent care if their resources are not sufficient to cover the full cost of their care despite prudent financial stewardship.dock Acres also serves the broader community in several ways. Community spaces are available at no charge to health service organizations providing public support and education on health topics. The facility also hosts seminars for pastors and those serving the needs of older adults in the broader community, as well as a public support group for loved ones of individuals with dementia.
