Program areas at Diocesan Catholic Children's Home
Residential treatment unit: our childcare staff and social workers maintain an active involvement in the life of each child in a small group living environment serving 63 children annually. Each child has a separate room. Children are supervised 24/7. Emphasis is placed on assisting children to develop positive interpersonal relationships with adults and other children.guardian angel school: the school's program is directed toward the modification of behavior in an educational oriented milieu and serves approximately 63 children annually.
Outpatient therapy program: the dcch has added patient therapy which includes individual therapy for all ages, group therapy, family therapy, marital therapy, spiritual direction, parenting education/support/customized consultation and evidence-based therapy. The program provided 2623 services to 325 unique individuals.
Therapeutic foster care: master level therapists provide a combination of individual, family and group therapy sessions designed to meet the individual needs of children-61 children were served. Our professional staff and available consultants offer a wide range of psychiatric, psychological, and family services. We provide family therapy over the phone for families significantly far away from the Home and unable to come to our campus.
