The Dialysis Center of Lincoln (DCL) has been recognized for innovations since their founding in 1987. DCL was the first freestanding dialysis facility in this country created by the joint effort of two independent hospitals; Bryan Medical Center and CHI Health-Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center. Satellite units are located in both Columbus and Lincoln. Dialysis Center of Lincoln's mission is to provide high quality dialysis in a rehabilitative environment with an emphasis on education and support to patients and their families.

Program areas at DCL

Provided inpatient and outpatient renal Dialysis primarily to residents of southeast Nebraska. At the end of 2022, the Dialysis Center of Lincoln had 232 patients. During the year, the Dialysis Center provided just over 32,800 outpatient hemodialysis treatments and more than 4,100 Dialysis treatments to hospital inpatients. In addition, the Dialysis Center particpates in research programs related to kidney disease and treatment. Employees are encouraged to particpate in local and national organizations which foster advancements in renal Dialysis.
