Program areas at Destiny Arts Center
School and Community: We worked with 25 schools in the East Bay in FY21, bringing hip hop, African dance and martial arts to 1400 students and providing 46,500 hours of instruction.
Students, in collaboration with a team of professional artists and elders, created an original show that was performed in front of 350 attendees.
Ran high quality and financially accessible martial arts, dance, theater programs and summer camps for 300 youth aged 3-18, culminating in two community showcases of student work.
