Program areas at DC Arts Center
2023 was a landmark year for The DC Arts Center, marked by significant achievements and growth. We secured crucial funding that enabled transformative renovations, including the installation of a new HVAC system, as well as state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment in our theatre. These upgrades have enhanced the experience for both artists and audiences, solidifying our commitment to fostering an innovative and accessible creative space. We proudly launched a new membership program, which received a wonderful reception from our community, further strengthening our connections and broadening our support network. Additionally, we introduced a new Workshop Series, providing valuable workshops for the local artist community and reinforcing our mission to empower and develop local talent. Our annual WallMountables fundraiser showcased the vibrancy of our arts community, featuring works by over 90 local artists.
