Daughters of the American Revolution - Chicago Dar

Although lessening, COVID-19 restrictions continued to impact our activities, we accomplished our mission in the following community service efforts: purchase and donation of clothing for veterans clothing room at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, providing access to historical information on how women and our chapter of NSDAR helped shape Chicago through digitization and hosting of Chicago Chapter historical records, supporting a Chicago student with a scholarship for postsecondary education, photographically recording of grave- stones at local cemeteries, participation in local beach clean-up programs, participation at Chicago Stand-Down providing food and services for homeless and in-need veterans, and monthly genealogy workshops.
