Community kitchen - provides meal to low income people seven days a week throughout the year.
Children's programming - kids' kitchen - an after school and summertime meal and nutrition education program for neighborhood children that provides a safe place to play and learn for over 190 unique neighborhood children who are at risk of hunger and malnutrition.
The Damiano center building is a community center that provides space for our programs as well as to other organizations and groups who provide services to low income people. The building is open 7 days a week throughout the year.
Free store - provides clothing and household goods to low income people at no cost. Items are donated by community members. Each year over 220,000 items of clothing are distributed. Commmunity services - emergency asssitance, information and referral program that offers a free phone, mailboxes for people who are homeless, hygiene items, household goods, computer classes, and limited assistance with transportation. The program serves 2,900 people annually. Clothes that work - a free clothing program that helps clothe people looking for work or in need of professional attire in order to maintain work. Over 300 people us this program each year. Health realization - a cognitive skills based program that helps individuals manage stress and work through barriers. It is often considered an addiction recovery program but can assist with a wide range of issues. Summer food corps - youth employment program for teens, teaching them skills in gardening, food service, childcare, and building their leadership and stem skills in the process. Safe storage - this program offers a free safe & secure space for guests to store their belongings. Hygiene unit - provides access to six shower/restroom units to any person in need.
