Program areas at Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture

Cowan Center for Education: Year-round classes, conferences, and special events to strengthen educators and encourage retention in the field. Educators of all disciplines as well as administrators are offered a transformative experience of liberal learning through major classics of world cultures during the Sue Rose Summer Institutes.
Publications: The Organization publishes books and monographs that bring the disciplines of the imagination depth psychology, literary criticism, art, architecture, cultural criticism to focus on the resuscitation of culture.
Hiett Prize Event: Among the nations largest awards in the Humanities, the $50,000 Hiett Prize is awarded annually to a young person in the early stages of a career in the humanities whose work shows great promise.
