Program areas at Cuyahoga Valley Art Center
Art classes & workshops Art classes and workshops were held at Cuyahoga Valley Art Center. In a normal year, workshops are held year-round and there are 4 sessions of classes for 1,400 students or an average of 9 students per class. The pandemic continued to have a small negative impact on the class and workshop attendance.
Membership membership dues reflect the support from the practicing artists community and community patrons. Members can take advantage of discounted classes, workshops, exhibit entry fees, and a free annual membership to the akron Art museum.
Exhibitions gallery Art exhibitions promote recognition of artists and public awareness of the arts. All exhibitions are open to the public and free to view. In a normal year, there are seven different exhibitions showcasing approximately 500 artists for approximately 12,000 visitors.
