CurePSP is a catalyst for new treatments and a cure. As such, it advances the understanding and seeks treatment and a cure for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), corticobasal degeneration (CBD), and multiple system atrophy (MSA). The science that is advanced by CurePSP also benefits the broader field of research in neurodegeneration, including Alzheimers and Parkinsons diseases, in addition to other rare neurodegenerative diseases. CurePSP publishes a library of printed and online educational materials for families, patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. These materials are developed in collaboration with CurePSP Centers of Care, a network of hospitals and best-in-class academic centers specializing in treating patients with PSP, CBD, and MSA. CurePSP sponsors professional educational conferences in collaboration with leading institutions to increase knowledge of the disease that will lead to earlier and more accurate diagnosis and better patient care. Several dozen volunteer events annually, supported by CurePSP, further educate the public. CurePSP uses several social media platforms to communicate with its constituents, maintains an online patient and caregiver forum, and produces national webinars, online support groups, and online presentations from clinicians and researchers.
CurePSP advocates for patients, families, and caregivers living with or managing PSP, CBD, and MSA. The goal of CurePSP is to improve the quality of life and patient outcomes and to create a community to increase resilience and accelerate problem-solving. CurePSP does this through the organization of family conferences, caregiver retreats, volunteer development, professional education, online and printed resources, and the dissemination of relevant information on social media. CurePSP supports more than 50 virtual and in-person support groups and has over 250 volunteers providing online, telephone, and face-to-face support worldwide. Continued on Schedule O
