Cure 4 the Kids (c4k) is committed to offering comprehensive and individual medical care for pediatric patients with oncology diagnoses, as well as rare and ultra-rare Childhood Diseases. C4k provides medical consultations, diagnostic services including immediate results for many laboratory tests, disease specific patient management and enrollment in research studies as appropriate, along with treatment and monitoring of diverse treatment modalities available for patients affected with the disease that it treats. In addition to all medical services, c4k also seeks to advance the quality of holistic patient care by providing services based around the patient and family's quality of life, such as neuropsychology, palliative care, child life services, and long-term therapy-related surveillance and care for oncology patients.c4k is accredited by the joint commission. This accreditation is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization's commitment to meeting and exceeding certain performance standards and best practices nationally. In addition to the joint commission accreditation, c4k also holds the prestigious commission on office laboratory accreditation (cola) for its moderate complexity laboratory, demonstrating c4k's dedication to providing quality patient care organization-wide. C4k is the only non-profit outpatient oncology/hematology center accredited by both the joint commission and cola in the state of nevada.c4k offers patient care in a state-of-the-art medical facility that includes child and young adult friendly exam rooms and spacious procedure rooms where bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, and joint aspirations are performed and intrathecal chemotherapy can be administered. Additionally, c4k offers an extensive laboratory menu and a specialty infusion pharmacy and infusion center, allowing for maximum utilization of outpatient services resulting in decreased hospital admissions and improved comprehensive outcomes for patients.
