Program areas at CSMAA
The Foundation seeks to engage and connect Alumni with the institution by planning programs that promote the university and the Alumni network.
The Foundation amended its joint operating agreement (joa) with the Colorado school of mines Foundation (csmf), in which the Foundation agreed to donate all its funds to csmf in accordance with the signed gift agreement as part of the new joa, which is effective july 1, 2020. Csmf will oversee management of the donated funds as part of its normal operations and adhere to all previous restrictions associated with the funds. Under the new joa, the Foundation will continue to exercise fiduciary responsibility over the business and affairs of the Foundation, including all assets owned by the Foundation. The Foundation completed the donation of its funds to csmf within the tax year ended june 30, 2020.
Financial assistance/professional development - the Foundation provides both financial assistance and professional development assistance to students of the Colorado school of mines.
