The Csforall bpc alliance is a national Science Foundation (nsf) funded research grant spanning a three year period with a total revenue of $3.6 million. The goals of the alliance are to build local capacity, raise awareness, and build a national data landscape of the Csforall member actions resulting in broadening participation in computing outcomes for students historically marginalized or underrepresented, particularly, girls, black or african american, and hispanic or latine students.
The Csforall accelerator program takes a personalized approach, working closely with communities to develop tailored strategies that ensure all students have access to high-quality Computer Science Education. Each accelerator community team (act) leverages the national Csforall community to achieve teacher training, curriculum adoption or development, and community engagement.
The Csforall summit is the annual gathering of Csforall's membership where we celebrate commitments and movement progress. Revenue comes in the form of event sponsorship for the event in general or for booths or other opportunities for organizations to highlight their individual work. To date over 1,200 organizations have made commitments for over 100 million learning opportunities for students and teachers.
The script program offers facilitator trainings and workshops to the communitity for a fixed cost. Revenue for this program includes registrations for those events and is used to support the program growth and materials updates over time. To date the program has served over 900 districts in the us and maintains a national facilitator network of over 100 certified facilitators.
