Program areas at Cruces Creatives
Provide a work space for people in dona ana county to explore creative endeavors and learn new skills by hosting skill-building classes and workshops for the community and leading stem and arts education for children through community schools program and provide workforce development providing jobs in technical, scientific and creative arts arenas.
With support from foundations, Cruces Creatives led the seeding regenerative agriculture project which organized peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and developed technologies to help new mexico farmers and ranchers implement more sustainable practices as well as other small foundation grant funded projects. Cruces Creatives developed working prototypes for several technologies that are currently being field tested.
Through the job shop, Cruces Creatives offered design and fabrication services to individuals and organizations while providing employment and on the job training, especially to people who have had difficulty finding employment. This promotes economic development, advanced science and technology and promotes practical education in dona ana county.
