Program areas at Crossroads Continuum
Day program - Crossroads school serves students diagnosed with autism between the ages of 3 and 22 who have moderate to severe challenging behaviors that preclude them from meaningful inclusion in public school classrooms. The school is dedicated to providing individualized comprehensive education and related services to students with autism in order to enhance the quality of life and independent functioning so they may achieve their full potential.
Community solutions - Crossroads Continuum's community solutions department provides comprehensive home and community training for clients and their families. The training is based upon the principles of applied behavior analysis and teaches parents and other family members how to more effectively promote skill acquisition and manage challenging behavior. Services include the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, the teaching of activities of daily living skills, self-help skills, social skills, play skills, leisure skills, meal skills, toileting skills, and safety skills, as well as the assessment and treatment of sleep problems.
