Program areas at Cross-Movement Legacy Initiative
Worked on programs to leverage the four sectors of non-profits, corporate, entertainment, and advocacy sectors around the common goal of amplifying the issue of youth mental health and driving the push toward mental wellness among youth. Toward this end, we have been working with celebrity influencers and with organizations focused on youth, such as my brother's keeper alliance (mbka) and born this way foundation, as well as participating with common in an event at alma backyard farms (almabackyardfarms.com) in los angeles where youth education and well-being are at the core of their work.working on development of a sustainable fellows program to increase the number of activists, consultants, and celebrities working in the social impact sector and to enhance understanding of the importance of storytelling and narrative in effecting social change. Tis program has the support and guidance of dr, bob ross, outgoing ceo of the California endowment, alicia keys, blue meridian, senior members of the obama foundation, and the wallach family foundation. The goal is to create a culture narrative lab to connect sectors for a more coordinated outreach and messaging for social change activists.
