Program areas at Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School
Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School provides a top-quality, college preparatory education with real-world work experience to students from under-resourced communities. Generous benefactors bridge the gap between what students earn at their Cristo Rey work-study job and what their families can afford to contribute. In fy 2021, our donors contributed more than $7 million dollars, making a Cristo Rey education possible for our nearly 550 students. Our seniors boast a 100% acceptance rate to 4-year colleges. We offer soccer, basketball, in-door and outdoor track, cheerleading, volleyball, choir, dance, student government, chess club, yearbook, karios retreats and other various clubs. In july 2020, construction was completed on our new School building which now provides our students with access to brand new classrooms, state of the art science and computer labs, a new gym, a track and field, and numerous other facilities. We were involved in all aspects of the development and construction to ensure the needs of our faculty and students were met.
